I'v just commited and PM'd Yella, Can't wait!!! I'll just need to pull my transfer box appart first and get rid of some niggling play in the front flange which seems to be comming from that inner bearing or the splines on the diff???? Don't you just luv em!

The lovely thing about off-roading is that you don't have to if you don't want to, it isn't compulsory. Personally, after having spent in the region of £7000 modifying a £900 Disco, I'd feel bad about NOT ragging its arse off. If you want to make use of the passenger seat, your most welcome to.

I might even let you drive if you love me long time!! :)
 
nice one sheddy, come on guys, where have you all gone, i seem to remember about thirty of you being interested when we started this, now we have a grand total of 5 definates and a maybe, if this carries on we will have to start naming and shaming, come on fella's its time to meet yer buddies and have a good weeks holiday, families are welcome and will be catered for.;)

could you summarise everything in this post for me please? when i 1st looked at it, it seems pricey for a weekend and i didnt like the look of B&B costs. but a weeks camping with offroad in the sun, £500? im now very interested.

so, dates? place? is it £500 all in? who is coming? might have to use 5days of my holiday :)

so far we have provisionally booked the first week in july, we have green lanning and use of a well laid out off road centre, some 40ish acres, with more in the pipe line.
the cost will include ferry fares but not cabins, bbq on the first night and bbq with live music on the last. there will also be various compertitions and a prize giving on the last night.
i'm also looking at other activities to take place at or near the 4x4 center. which is in northern france

numbers so far are around 18 confirmmed and a few maybes.

lets put it this way. the reason its only £500 is because we have said there will be thirty, if there are less than 30 then it will be dearer, if there are more than 30then the price will fall ;)
 
right then we have a bit of interest now, so we are going to be asking for deposits in the next few weeks, we are looking for £150 as a deposit, it will be the second week in november when we need it, thanks,
 
sorry sheddy, no way, they take half the cash off you in fees, cheques will be fine, i go away next week so we will sort it when i get back, ;)
 
So I'll actually have to send you an actual cheque and prove that I'm up for this and not just a messer?
