There is get a 110 and sleep in the back. Minty didn't wake up till 09:20 & 10:15

Or get a decent camp bed.

Shhh with your common sense!

Get rid of Bessie?!? Go wash your mouth out. ;)

I'm working on the better camp bed. Should have gone to The Range apparently and not a specialist camp store.

Try Angling stores. their beds are designed for fat sweaty blokes camping on rough riverbanks and lake sides. Have a look at TFG equipment. bit pricier than the range but very well made gear.

Oh did I mention that I have a TFG camp bed for sale  :D

Ahhh now see, that makes me think you have found something even better! I will check out the angling thing. If they have beds for fat sweaty men then they should be able to cradle a fat sweaty woman. :)

Pikey speaks truthfully ...

I just bought a TF .. er one of these TFGear Force 8 Speed Lite Bivvy, 1 man | GO Outdoors for the wild camping, and teemed it with one of these ... Waterline 4 Leg Bedchair | GO Outdoors
and can confirm they are pretty damn good ... in fact for the price they beat 'proper' camping gear into a cocked hat!!

As an idea how good they are, we have a caravan, a new three man tent for when the pair of us go camping instead of the caravan, a large 2 man tent, a small two man tent and a pop-up tent .. and this is better than any of them for an overnight stay ..

Having said that, I've only stayed in it one night so far, but the bed is superb .. and unlike many 'camp' beds you can sleep on your side if you like, or front or however you normally sleep at home, it's _that_ good .. ;)

Can you get double beds in those fishing type campbeds ?

I had a cracking night's sleep on the air bed but it does tend to make it feel like a waterbed when rolling over or getting out of it and means I have the grace of a hippo

We had 2 camp beds. And they are comfortable but.. sold one already as I prefer to sleep in the 110 decided on next trip to take the force 8 tent to put all the crap in. :D

Yes, Juliet put a double airbed in and we decided the single man was exactly the same as the two man, other than a larger overhang at the front! We reckon a 'proper' double camp bed would easily fit.

Lol there has to be a better way. I have bruises too

Just a note, … . :)

The range, £13.99… :D

Ours is betterer than our memory foam jobby;)

We walked across where you'd pitched after you went and there were more mole hills and cow-holes etc than where LR110 had had his landy stuck! :D

They weren't cow holes, that was where my arse , hips and head was pressed into the soil ! :)
