Thanks fella's and lady's...

Its a toss up between an 06 2.0td4 and the best defender lez friendly I can find now for 6000...

Hmmmmm.... The od trip to Sardinia is likely too so maybe I will be a Gaylander owner after all....:scratching_chin:I just don't want the whole stigma of look at him in his Chelsea tractor thing going on, because I'm a biker really never had a car and I'm 35...

Comfort v go almost anywhere.

Gaylanders are what they are, , defender rattle, leak and noisy commercial driving.

My 90 does the above but fast

Your budget should get you a good Landy, but theres a lot of overpriced ****e out there!
In this budget, should get service history and be a tidy motor but as with all of them its all about the rust!
Just be prepared to be patient and crawl around under any you are looking at.

Cheers buddy I will keep searching and hopefully pull one out the hat with a good solid chassis and bulkhead I was a panel beater before I became a welder and I can fabricate but Its having the space a gear to do it all...
