mine used to have the reg a85 bec so i just called her bec short for rebecca coz it reminded me of a stubborn but fun ex girlfreind who moved abroad with her parents

Never had an Allegro, had an Austin Maxi 1750 HL tho most reliable car I ever had.

Friend of mine had a defender with M***EAT on the reg plate and called it butcher or Butch for short
