Took our 1996 90 Landy to the garage for its MOT today.
Since we bought it last Jan we have replaced a front propshaft that spectacularly exploded while we going downhill, replaced the two rear shock absorbers, got the rear windscreen washer working again, tracked down a faulty fuel solenoid issue and reupholstered the seats :)
We have done 10,000 miles in the year and are SO glad that we bought it -especially in the last 2 months where we have been having fun negotiating flooded roads and muddy fields down this neck of the country.
So, we felt pretty confident about the MOT - but you never can tell really, so it was a bit disappointing to get a refusal
However - the problem was the dust cover on the drop arm ball joint which had disintegrated. MOT man said that this was now a fail, though had only been added to the list in the last year. He rummaged around in one of his drawers and came up with a replacement he said we could have, so we toddled back home to the barn, replaced the cover and got the Landy back to the garage a couple of hours later - to be given the MOT pass :)
He was very complimentary about Landy as well

I got mine mot'd a week ago, they were fair but not ott,
