hi im looking for my first landy and im looking for a 90 .
could anyone help me with any tips for buying eg. wot to look for and if anyone has one for sale could u let me know .
im looking to spend about £5000

You could get a really nice 300 Tdi for that sort of money, where in the world are you?

i was looking at them but the insurance seems to be cheaper on the older models and the 90 seems to be my best bet.
im in guildford surrey

Don't know what you've looked at so far in terms of insurance, but try NFU Mutual.

kool cheers i do like the 300 but i was just put off them a bit cause the insurance but i wanna look about so i cant have a bit more of a choice rather than just a single model. cause there both gd motors

We just had a reasonable quote from sureterm they are in the landy mags. If it's not too far for you to travel to there is a 4x4 auction in leominster called Brightwells you can view the stock online and they usually have a lot of landy's going through there. you'll get more for your money

Hey Adam,

I am in Guildford. I am going to be selling my 90 in about a week and a half (got myself a disco). Mine is a bit of a dog though.

It has an Isuzu 2.8 Turbo Diesel Intercooled Engine.
Roof Rack
Bull Bars
CB, and the usual stuff.

I also have converted it to run on pure vegetable oil.

If you do buy a land rover, one thing to always remember, check the chassis for rot.
