Out and about in Hua Hin Thailand and I see a few olde worlde series knockin' about :)

While I'm not a series kinda guy i thought you veterans of the wheel might be interested :)

nice s1,worth about $3500 over here in sa,hard to find.ive found a few nice ones in zimbabwe for around $500,but our liceincing dep wont alow us to import foreign cars privately.damn id love to have one of the originals.nah the s3 in bling looks crapy
 
Maybe but the way the corner is rounded above the lights looks "sharper" than a Series, i.e. more like a Defender. It's a subtle difference but looks like it.

The only reason I brought it up was there was a really nice looking S3 in an old issue of Land Rover (World possibly?), it was a soft-top with a Union Jack on the bonnet and largish tyres. Normally I would say with a Series keep it original but this thing looked fantastic, I don't think the Defender style front (i.e. no recessed grill) would have suited it as well.

To the point... One of the subtle enhancements made to it was to replace the Series wings with Defender ones.
