Hi,
I just wanted to introduce myself, my wife and I have taken the plunge and just bought our first ever Landy, a 1990, Landrover 90.

It wants a fair bit of work and am sure it will become a labour of love (I hope) no doubt will need lots of advice,

I have bought the Haynes work shop manual and the Haynes restoration manual. Are there any other really good books you would recommend?

Regards
Garry

Hi and welcome!

The genuine workshop manual is very good and readily available on eBay for a reasonable price. The parts manual is helpful too.

Make sure you invest in some decent security measures too, landies are very popular with thieves.

What sort of security measures would you all suggest? very very new to this

Pitbull with his knackers tied up with electric cord to the door handle. Preferably starved with an airfreshner smell of blood soaking meat should do it. If gypos can get away with dogs why not Joe public too
