Hello all, does anyone know if it is possible to fit an air induction kit onto a TD4 ? - and where one might be available?

thanks,

It can be done and has been done. It'll be a DIY job as nothing is commercially available.
You have to ask what the motivation is though?
The TD4 boosts at around 32Psi, on the factory intake system.
It won't boost more on a modified intake system ;)

here's what iv done to mine

methinks that modifying the pre-air filter ducting ..
be critical .. in order to achieve an overall beneficial effect

this came up on a recent google search ..

Introduction :

" Before one can set forth to design a good air filtration and induction system, the function of a good system must be explored. A good induction system on any engine must address the following aspects: air filtration, airflow dynamics and thermodynamic properties. The bottom line goal of the induction system is to deliver the highest density air in the greatest volume to the engine "

Have you already cleaned out the inlet manifold and either cleaned or bypassed the EGR?
