Hi All,

As some of you already know I live in sunny Germany. As a result I'm looking to suscribe to one of the Landie mags on sale in the UK. However, I don't want to spend a fortune buying them all to find out which one is best for the Series 3. Any pointers on what other Series owners recommend gratefully received.

Cheers

My personal choice is the LandRover International , I find it gives good technical advice / articles for series vehicles . I got LandRover world subscription for a year as a Xmas present don't find it as good on the technical side

To tell you the truth mate, I can't find any real difference between any of 'em. They're all written in a similar style. They all go to Morocco for their hols and they all tell you how to fix spotlights to your bonnet in 50 easy step-by-step photos. Nice for an occasional read but I wouldn't subscribe to any.

Land Rover International Brill mag even for those who know how to fit spotlights. But like all mags its 50% interesting and 50% cr*p.....

Sadly, I get all three, four if you include "big ones". I struggle to find a difference......Which is probably their wicked plan. If one was clearly the best I would just buy one. The ads are the same, the "must buys" are the same, the "how to's" are the same.

They do feature some puurdy Landies tho' & give some nice looking (& generally different) greenlane ideas. I find with any specialist mag (no, not that sort!) you get to a point where you're just re-reading the same ol' stuff.

When I reach that point I'll stop buying Landy mags & buy more "big ones". Some things you just can't get enough of!

The mags on offer are all about the same contents wise apart from LRW, jesus I hate that publication. The classifieds last year were less than helpfull. I hadn't long sold my Hybrid and was on the lookout for another Landy. Ads were duplicated and some ads were outa date. As for their annual show at Eastnor, the less said the better.

You may have guessed that I'm not a LRW patron.

Regards WP.

i sometimes enjoy a copy of whips and heels. i do like their "how to" pages and the 'must buys'

Slob chap, truth be tol', I spent 14 years as a widely published fetish photographer so I actually find it quite liberating to photograph a few tractors........Plus subscribe to "Whips & heels" back copies! Pick the bones out of that!

oh! maybe we met sometime in the past then..i'll have to check my proof sets to see if any of them have a photographer from "a clockwork orange"
ere you not the one that owes me a tenner and two gross of extra hot melting candles.

that should have been washers ,grunt.. it goes nut screws washers and bolts..

Get Tae France or someother place being with 'f' heating still crap. its got self bleeder on it down at the back of the heat exchanger. i would have thought they would work better at the highest part of the system. the rads have been bled silly and the pump works when there is current at it. i'm sure something is telling the system its hot enough and causing it to shut down.
i should have me gas boiler glued in next week once i find a gas tank to run it from.
