none of those concepts will make it into production.

remote controlled car on the roads.. don't think so and can you imagine those doors at the car park.
 
This isn't going to be the only new Disco either, this is just the Disco Sport. No doubt there will be a Disco Full Fat Special, Disco School Run, Disco City Centre... they cancelled the Disco Country Crusader on the bases that no one in the country would need something as outlandish as a big 4x4.

They do. That shape only really worked on the Evoque and I'm not really sure I like that any more either. The new Rangie looks ugly and nothing special. This proposed new Disco is more of the same squashed looking ugliness.

I can't help thinking LR have lost their way a bit with their current designs. None of them seem to be targeted for real users, they're all just poser vehicles now even if they are still theoretically capable offroad.

This new design theme has certainly put me off any of the new vehicles.
It was bad enough that they had to put the range rover badge on a redesigned freelander, now they've gone ahead and now have the good ol disco looking like a ford explorer. Land rovers of the future have effectively been made soulless :(
