Hello all. I have searched before posting this, so hopefully this isn't a duplicate.
Fingers and Toes crossed, the old girl will be back from the garage tomorrow, and ready to roll.
The next step is to fit 7.50 X 16 or equivalent tyres. This will reduce the gearing a bit and give me an extra inch underneath for the regular grease and under seal applications.
I live on the edge of the universe apparently (Belfast) and so getting tyres from the mainland costs a fortune in delivery fees.
So - does anyone have a recommendation for tyre dealers in Northern Ireland?
I've been quoted £130 fitted for a Rangemaster, and I need 5 to replace the almost gone 205s. Ouch.

Try blrc lad or alternatively ring round all tyre places

You want to try living further south, then you will know all about postage from mainland UK

Sligo sure it's round the corner from Fermanagh cheap tyres round there

Already been to BLRC, and Magown quoted the £130 for the Rangemasters.

Yep, Paddocks quoted me £95 delivery for 4 tyres

Thanks again. £103 for a 235/85/r16 is much better - thats black circles.
Have to leave it for a while - looks like the head gasket has gone!
