If you lived in a private housing area, with your vehicle no visible from the main road, and other individuals with the same vehicle as you were driving to your home, but never speaking/waving/honking to/at you, would you be concerned or flattered? I was flattered until I considered more dubious motives.

I'd be wary I think, all the horror stories on here about peoples pride and joy going missing. Not trying to worry you but I'd I'd be taking descriptions of these people and their reg plates and making sure your landy is as secure as possible. Hope its nothing sinister.

Is your private housing area 'gated' or does it have its own security ?

Very obviously take some photographs of them. If they ask what you're doing then tell them that you're a (whatever make of car) nut and collect photographs of them, a bit like train spotters collect numbers.

It'll either scare them off or, if you lose anything, give you some lovely leads for the police.

Better to play it wary of em and be wrong than to think better of em and be wrong.

Thanks for all of the help. I was worried I was just being paranoid, but I am glad my concerns aren't that odd. I only have a Disklok on it at the moment, but I have ordered the clutch claw. Any other suggestions?

Fit 2 ground anchors underneath it and chain it up at night!

Park it on full lock, and ideally block it in/make it hard for a hiab flat bed to get to it

Fit the most powerful alarm sounder that you can get and mount it inside your Landy, but out of reach of anyone breaking in. 200db as a minimum would be about right, as it should alert you and damage them ... quite accidentally of course, as you were intending to test the alarm, but never quite got round to doing it! Honest hoccifer, 't were an accident that I left it connected up!
