Anyone planning on going to any of the shows this year?
I didn't go to any last year..............I was in hiding!!

Went to Malvern, Billing, Peterborough and did the L2B run in 2005.

I'm going to try and go to at least one of them this year.

has anyone alse noticed that LRM has now moved its show to billing...but they are having it on the same weekend as the Land Rover Enthusiast show at Kelmarsh hall!! LRE already have a list of trade stands at their show, doesnt look like there are many left for LRM show!

shame. Dunno if I'll get out to any this year. Can recommend the L2B for us southerners Action Pimp. I went on the 2005 (was 'between Landies' in 2006!) was a blast in convoy with 700 Landies.

The campsite is fun up at Crystal Palace too. Did you do a night under canvas for the 2005 one Cats?

No Marcus I got there at 7am ish on the day...........I went with the Freelander Owners Club, I was on their stand in Brighton..........we had a great day it was a real laugh :D
Can't wait to do it again one day.

i do enjoy a good run to brighton!! (i do it loads on my motorcycle!)
and my sister does the mini run & my mates does one in his VW Camper

Well, now you don't have to be left out, you got yer own run. I used to do the mini run, but honestly found the Landy one more freindly.

I have some mates that do the Mini Run. They also go to Italy for the "Italian Job" Mini run.
It was great to see all the Landys............mind you it was a shame we all got spilt up, I thought it would be like a big convoy but it werent.

london to brighton was great :) where else in london can you get overnight stay and parking for £25? i went out with some friends and then came back to the camping to be woken at 6.30am by the sounds of the V8's :D

take your own sausages and bacon though as the queue for the van was massive!

cant beat a convoy of 850 landies on deserted streets at 8.30am... i love seeing the 101's.

hopefully we can have a landyzone convoy this year? i couldnt get people together last year, and blip was with his camel friends :D

Well, we ought to definatley get together for the convoy up. We just needed a bit more organising. Here's a pic of our convoy on the Saturday, gathering at Leigh Delamere. We had the Freelander, Dosco, Defenders, a Hicap, 101, Series 2, Series III, a 6x4 and all manner of things with guns on.

The stickers wuz talked about around a year ago now Pimp. I still think it would be a good idea.

The L2B went down the A23 mainly, though I have to say I took the M23 as I wuz glad to be moving (@55 - in me III) after the crawl thru London. There wuz quite a few who took that route (I know cuz they all overtook me!) Being a Brighton bloke I knew a crafty way in as it's a real crawl to the seafront.
