Hello I have been trying different things to sort this pinging/ knocking noise. I have replaced the whole exhaust including the manifold there is also a new carb and new gearstick rubber.
The only thing that improved it was timing it at 6 atdc but it's still not perfect, I look online and it says for emission controlled 8:1 engines which I think mine is that is what it should be from factory can anyone confirm this many thanks
