Good afternoon everyone.

I've just bought another Landy, this time a Freelander, and it's got the original radio/cassette player.

To get it out of the mounting, it requires the two U-shaped pins that slot into the 4 holes so that you can pull it out of the dash.

Any ideas where I can get hold of these pins?

Halfords do sell them but all they do is to push the little wing clips back to allow the radio casing to slide out. Like Lanny man says, make yer own.

four bits of welding rod, one chopped up wire coat hanger, four Welshmen with erections

the possibilities are endless

Screwfix, ebay. I'm sure google can find a thousand other places also.

But the coat hanger or nails will almost certainly be the cheaper option.

Welcome to LZ anyhow.

hes obviously just collected it if the radio is the only fault hes found.has anyone told him to steer clear of water if he doesent want his doors to fall off.
