I returned home today to find both my letter from Bauer and the last issue of LRO, ironically delivered at the same time. I’ve cancelled the subscription as I don’t read practical classics and I’ve moved to LRM.

In my opinion, it’s very presumptuous of Bauer to assume that LRO readers would be happy with practical classics instead of cancelling everyone’s subscriptions and issuing refunds.

They're trying to tempt peeps across to the other mag to keep trade up. Can't say I'd blame them for trying. They offer a refund if thats what you prefer.

I’ve applied for the refund. I think they should have done that as the default, not offered another publication that isn’t similar to,what they’re discontinuing.

I sent a note to "bauer@subscription.co.uk" asking for a refund on my recent digital subscription and 2 days later I received a note saying they would refund me $50 CAD. The original subscription cost was $65 I lost some money on the transaction but generally happy with the quick response and $50.

Paper copies here cost $13CAD and are not easily found so I rarely bought the magazine but did enjoy reading the two I recently bought. Was looking forward to digital edition.

Got my final edition delivered by our local paperman, he got a copy no problem, ordered on the 10th and delivered on the 13th perhaps as he is fairly close to Peterborough helped.
Anyone got suggestion for an alternative LR good read?

To be fair to Bauer my subscription due in July. Cancelled my renewal and received a payment for unused part of the subscription within one week. I subscribe to LR monthly and 4x4 magazine.

Just seen this on FB, It's a shame but guess I'm as guilty as many as rarely buy a magazine copy and only read/refer to their online articles
I subscribed to the mag at the show. I rarely read mags so i've got two years worth stacked on the bedroom floor still unopened. Next to them a similar number of Practical Performance Cars. I've just subscribed to Land Rover Monthly online. At least that will free up some floor space 😁

I initially subscribed to Land Rover Monthly as an alternative to LRO but have now switched to Land Rover Life instead. It's quarterly rather than monthly which increases the chances of it actually being read rather than put on the pile with all the others.
