Two words Dodge Caliber Pffft
Hey! My name is Christian and I have dreamed of owning a Land Rover (older Series) since I was in my 20's BUT a wise man named Paul Safari a Landy repairman put me off such an expense at my age by telling me the ones he had were REALLY expensive for how old & in need of repair they were. I thank him for that & many years later when I was able to afford these lovely awesome machines I got a 1998 Disco 1 & I was hooked! A fixer upper in that she leaked from the sunroof, trans lines, rear door, as well as the block (head gasket) But I am a tinkerer & pride myself on doing things right and better than stock when possible. "Puddles" is all sorted out now & just likes puddle jumping. Onto this year and the purchase of something mores stable than the wife's old '03 Ford Escape 2WD , and something more worthy of investing our hard earned $$$ into. So for a steal ($2,200CDN) we got a 2005 Silver Freelander with just 98,500KMs on her. The more I worked on the little things the more the little truck grew on me I LOVE my D1 & my wife will LOVE her little sure footed F1
I will have questions I hope someone can help me with. Share info & let's not get gauged by the stealerships!
