One of 146 made by Rocky Mountain of Canada (mine being no 146) fitted with Pace forks, hope discs + hubs, XTR mechs, Race face chainset + ti bottom bracket, race face ti headset,syncros stem +seat post + ti flite saddle, the all up weight is 25llbs which isn't bad for a steel framed bike (the frame weighs only 3.5llb)I used to race (vets category) around the country on it.

ffs heidi!! you can see them ****s any where pedaling like fook and going nowhere cos the fooking things are too low geared for yer normal roads.
turnips wiff mountain bikes that are bought as a fashion accessory need to expand their minds and get a grip on how fookin stupid they look.
even my 8yo piffs her self larfing at the state they get into. fooking 85 gears and all of them lower than 1st on a SA 3 speed hub.
ah bet if you brought out sat nav specially fer a mountain bike and priced it up at over a grand they'd be flockin in to buy them.

Me for one, the Alps are an annual holiday destination for me and THOUSANDS of other mountain bikers.
And my bike has 9 gears, not '85'.
Of course there are going to be people who buy them as 'accessories', just like many people who own Landrovers im sure.
