My 63 was passed by the folk at Steadfast autos old wokingham road.
From Bracknell end of old wokingham road just after the hand car wash onn the right hand side 1/2 mile short of nine mile ride.

They were thorough but were OK with using a tapley meter for the brakes when they got odd readings on the rolling road.

Lightfoots in Crowthorne. As long as you aint got a diesel, cuz the owner is too tight to get the emissions kit for'em.
Tell'em ozzy sent ya, that'll really annoy them.

Did you find anywhere closer to bracknell ?

My 90's due the end of this month and I'm in Thatcham, Berkshire so am looking for somewhere not too far that knows what they're doing when testing landys.

Thanks

I'm in a not to distant village. And although I'm not due test until may. Apparently the garage at Curridge is the place for MoTs. Untested theory by myself but I heard it on the grapevine.

Took my TD5 to a normal TD5 testing station and it passed. Surely an MOT pass is a pass anywhere? I wouldn't want much leniency in a test, just because they know Land Rovers.
i thought the same as you when 2013 test was due, my normal garage mot tester retired so i had to take it to the other garage near my village £50 test fee £35 retest fee kept failing my old girl on emissions. so i took it to three other garages and one was a very picky citreon dealership it passed the emission test at all three to such an extent the comment was bunny rabbits coming out of that exhaust. so as we all know there are good & bad garages everywhere. so a little bit of help for landie lovers with garages would be very helpful posting.

I used cams auto services crickets lane Chippenham he always been fair and a fellow off roader so don't mind mods
