There is a pic online somewhere where they show the Skyfall Defender modded for fast road work.

Dropped by 4 inches
Running a widened track on road aklloy and track tyres
Remote controls to the roof which is where the driver sits in a cage (The Stig!)

just watched the film and noticed at the beginning when the driver smashs the wing mirrors, notice they just explode instead of folding/smashing in on them selves. also a minute or so later no sign of any mirror bracket on the defender. hate seeing bloopers in films especially on a landy :rolly: fail

Err... yes it could. Freight train in urban environment. At best the line speed would be 60mph.

Even on a big open flat track a passenger train can only do 120mph... freight are a lot less than this.

Look at how they've succeeded in getting the windscreens "broken" in exactly the same way. That must have kept the props department busy for a while.
