my land rover 90 smokes when it idles but dosent when i drive it. but it has just had a compleat engin overhall and all the piston rings done any ideas what it could be? its a 2.5 td 90 1989

Smoking - it's nothing but a bad habbit and should be stamped out. Idle smokers are just the worst though ;-)

I used to be an idle smoker, but I gave it up at Christmas.

it smokes as standard, if it didn't it would be a toyota or summat like that
