Hello and thank you for your welcome in this precious forum. I have a 1990 Land Rover 90 2.5TD pickUp. I managed to fix it but the problems are always in danger. Now I want to change the clutch pump on the pedal. I managed to extract the pump but the pedal, in that limited space, together with its box, does not want to go out. I have seen many videos, in the most recent defender versions it is very simple, even in the right hand drive version, but I have the fender on one side and the master cylinder on the other. Who helps me? Thanks again. Piero

Hello Piero, from Wales. First we need to sort out some correct terms. Clutch pump = Clutch master cylinder. I can see from photos that a left hand drive one would be under the top of the Fender = wing, making it difficult to get at, It may be to remove pedal box other items may need removal.
Why do you wish to remove the clutch pedal box if all you are changing is the already removed clutch master?
I also drive a 1990 90 although the engine is a now a 200 tdi Cheers John.

Yes you're right sorry.
Let's talk about the Clutch Master Cylinder, which needs to be repaired (overhauled), or replaced.
I have already disassembled the pump, but I was thinking of restoring the pedal and when I reassemble the pump I would like to work in a simpler way.

Now I don't have a detailed photo. But in the European version the pump has the servo brake

are you allowed to use terms like "master cylinder" and "slave cylinder" these days?
Dont want them pulling your statue down

I can see in the photo the brake master cylinder and it's servo would be in the way for removal of Clutch master and /or its pedal box. Some have modified Pedal box to make getting at the lower retaining bolt of the clutch master cylinder. On UK version it is of course the brake servo that is tight to the wing.
