Did this recently on my 110 with a 300tdi on a LT77 gear-box. It is really tight round the slave cylinder due to the 300's engine mounts and can be a bit of a faff.
I struggled a bit because the rubber boot at the end of the slave cylinder was a bit fat and prevented the cylinder sliding fully into the bell-housing.
I ended up trimming the raised rubber ridge inside the boot to make it fit better.
Made a simple job a right pain until I worked out what the problem was, don't you love pattern parts.

Thanks for letting me know. I still haven't actually got round to sorting this out, as I've not had the time. I went with the suggestion of topping up the resevoir, and propping the clutch down overnight to let the air rise up and out. It seemed to work quite well, but definitely only a temporary fix!

Just got mine sorted tonight. It's been a pain though. Got under it on Sunday to investigate the loss of fluid. Turned out to be a hairline split in the flexi pipe. o_O
Got a new pipe yesterday and fitted it when I got back from work. Could I get it bled........NO:mad: Was on until 10.15pm and then admitted defeat. Tried all I knew, loosened pipe on top of master and used finger as a one way valve. Then loosened the next joint down to the flexi and tried the same. Then used a massive oil syringe to try and suck the fluid through. No joy. Never had this amount of bother before. :( Had to get the Mrs to beg the mother in laws car so she could get to work today . Bought a Gunson Eezibleed from Halfords on the way home tonight and eventually got a decent pedal. Still wasn't easy though!

Sounds like a nightmare! I used a selection of bricks to hold the clutch down overnight for about a week, which pretty much set the pedal back to normal for a day or so. Eventually bit the bullet and took it to my garage and got it sorted because I needed my car badly and as I was thinking the master cylinder needed doing as well I couldn’t be waiting for parts etc to arrive. Just the slave needed in the end.
