I would avoid the breakers. The wiring harness on the 2.5 is a common failure, due to the assembly sitting next to the hot engine. Most of them eventually fail.
If you want to do a good job, Autosparks sells the harness for a reasonable price. If you think its too much money, check the price of a genuine LR harness, and you'll learn what ridiculous is.
The harness is only a few wires. If you're handy, you can change the bulkhead engine connector with your own waterproof automotive connector, and run your own wires from there. That would sully a good bulkhead harness though.
Autosparks has my vote on a vehicle worth keeping. Solder and roll your own otherwise.
