Hi all
I have a 2004 TD5 disco manual, it's currently my wife's daily drive and we have noticed that going up hills requires a lot of gear changes lately (I know they don't fly up hills but this is worse than normal). it also whilst you are driving has little power dips, with your foot on the accelerator you can feel it lose power and then come back its all over in a second.
I have recently replaced the fuel and air filter when I replaced them I filled the fuel filter with injector clean and took it out for a drive and revved it hard and got quite abit of black smoke out of the rear, it still has an EGR valve in place.
Any ideas what to look at next?
Thanks
Rob
