Should the L405 have its own section given even the Ejoke does?

And I agree with you gold, in every way. This brilliant site has to adapt to everything landrover...
Ejoke and all ... :eek::p;)

Precisely. Comical as it is, ejoke owners have asked for, and received help. They even have their own little room. Yet some are determined to ostracise the L405 and tell them there is no room at the inn, then send them elsewhere. If the Classic and P38 owners had done that 17yrs ago, there would be no L322 owners here. Time moves on, the site has to move with it. Ejoke included :p
Yeah, up to usual build standards.
Yep, which is why the L405 owners are starting to knock on the door. 7yrs in , third owner syndrome ;)

There are large numbers of Ejokes, so maybe a section can be justified. the L405 is a rare and complex beast, even is there were a separate section, personally I doubt it would see much activity so the cost cannot be justified.

It costs to have a prefix? Quite a few hits on Gold Rover's search link?

To put this into perspective, we’re talking about adding one more option to a drop down list, that’s all! One option to ensure that the last 6 years’ Range Rover production aren’t excluded from the site and driven away to newer sites. If the plan were to reduce the workload by winding activity on the site down, doing nothing would seem to be an effective way to do it.
Even the Land Rover magazines have had to adapt and write stuff about newer Land Rovers, many of which seem out of place in the magazines, but it’s still a darn sight better than leaving them to gradually decline.

you would soon get recognition if was case of being gay, lesbian, trans sexual, crossdresseror transgender, case for the court of human rights ? Equally for L405 owners.

So L405 owners are transgender, gay/lesbian cross-dressers? Might explain why the cars are a bit Liberace.

No it’s new to me.

I’m not type that can set up my own website easy while on service, but forget about it for last 8 months :D
Ok now I'm confused. You haven't missed why the request was set up, which means you know a long standing member, who owns an L405 asked for it. So which bit is new to you?

Also I have no idea what you mean by "I’m not type that can set up my own website easy while on service, but forget about it for last 8 months".
Who set up a website, whilst on service (what service?) and then forgot about it?

? Have I missed something? Doesnt cost a red cent to have another prefix. Even if it did, simple answer would be, get rid of ejoke, let them play under 'other'. Then give the flagship the respect and space it deserves.
And, yep, the L405 hits are starting, should we really be sending the 4x4 flagship away, but pandering to a 2 wheel drive car? If it has to be either/ or. Then surely the smart choice for this site is the 4x4 flagship.

Ah, I see. Between your bottle of beer and the fact that I moved house today ( shouldve taken 5 hrs, took 8) I can see why I missed it :D

Moving house is a complete PITA. The shed alone took me 8 hours!

@Tigger Eeyore & Roo has an L405 and believes there is new section/prefix/ we are missing out on.
I didn’t know until recently this was an issue. You did ;)

If you have a P38 D needing hammering that’s within my skills and I will help you all I can. I believe you have the skills for this task so why not do something?
I think your the one for the job and we will all back you. (Within reason) :)
