It was literally hanging there  I’m guessing it came from somewhere underneath the abs unit. I need to have a proper look later without the 3 year old in tow. What is the unit underneath the abs unit?

put a squirt of contact cleaner on it, then rub it in with a £20 note

If you feel around the area where it came from you should find a stray connector somewhere....

I believe Ant as usual is right it is the connector for that..:D

I've ripped the connector off on one occasion, snagged it :D whoops. o_O

Put some cantact shyte on it, maybe some Dielectric grease to stop further corrosion.

That is if the pins haven't already completely dissolved.

I think y'all missing something.......

That cover is supposed to be firmly attached to the back of the pump motor.....

You can clean it up as much as you like, it's still fecked.

Agreed, I posted reconnecting it to ascertain what it was part of.;)

Pins will clean up, but yes I have no idea what they are supposed to attach to? Other side I would look at.

My original comment of cleaning up was meant in jest :)

Yh you still need a plug to connect to the new motor..

So as i said the connector needs to be cleaned.
