its the small micro fuse on the radio module (the unit in picture 2 with the rippling white sticker) this fuse provides some of the amps power and if this fuse is blown you will get no sound from the system.

Hi mate, if you mean the plastic trim that has the seat controls on then no not sorted it yet.

Ive got that fault too! the fibre optic system is called the MOST ring, have you checked that the amp is lighting up inside and heating up? if you unplug the MOST plug from the amp you should see a red light flashing in the optic cable, if you dont it could mean that the MOST ring is broken somewhere, if that happens you will only get the Land Rover splash screen and the orange light on the power button will flash (I think). There is a technical bulletin about this saying that it could be a corrupt EQ file in the amp?
If you find out what caused this could you let me know as mine is still knackered :doh:

i was interested in your reply to this thread regarding location of radio module i have a 2002 l322 hse model and was wondering if you would know where my radio module is located i have removed the panel as in the picture but other than my dsp unit there appears to be nothing else in the vicinity..?
my radio stopped working when i swapped battery's..
any help would be appreciated

Afternoon, I am fairly new to this site, and very new to having a range rover.
The one I have is a L322 Supercharged 2006 on a 56 plate, the one of many problems I have is that the screen works great sometimes then not at all.
Symptom, when not working ? Landrover logo comes up for a few seconds then blank, have changed the fuse number 52 in glovebox, logo comes on then off again,
HELP.

Hi I'm after some help I've just bought a 2004 Range Rover vogue and there is no sound from the stereo the dsp on the head unit keeps showing in white then going off I've checked the fuses in the glove box and they seem fine can anybody shed some light on for me please

Have a look in the rear left quarter behind the panel is all the entertainment units, check all the connections for water ingress but make sure it has all powered down first.

Ok I will check in the morning just seems strange to me that the dsp is in white on the head unit which would seem to suggest that it's getting power to the amp but then goes out after a minute or two and disappears off the head unit screen

Hi Matt,
From reading around you seem to know a great deal more than most about the RR Audio System. I seem to have developed the same fault however I had a look for the micro switch in my late 2005 Range Rover hse (2006 facelift model) and the module seems to be behind the head unit as only the Amp and sub were in the rear well. As hopefully you can see from the pics attached I seem to have the AUD 2D system (most of the Vouges have the AUD 4D as I've had a few). I've stripped out the Amp, Head unit and Radio Module and opened them all looking for a small micro fuse without any joy. Everything seems dry however I did have to strip and clean the contacts in my Bluetooth module as they didn't look great. I've not taken out the CD changer in the glove box or the drop down (I assume to be after market) DVD player in the roof.
The fibre optic red light is visible in all except the Radio Module however it looks slightly different to the rest. I really don't want to follow many others and replace the Amp to discover it has not solved the problem.
Any ideas?
This may sound like a stupid question however the small micro fuse you refer to is it a standard car micro fuse as in a smaller version of a standard car fuse?
