Hi I'm new to range rovers just bought one about a week ago and the heaters don't get hot it also has lpg the engine getsubmission hot and upto temperature as it should the heat gets to the water manifold hot but pipes from then on are cold not sure if the coolant pipes on manifold are the correct way around if any1 can show a picture of these pipes would be great
 
No both goin in are cold so is the return.. confused not sure which way around the hoses go on the coolant manifold I read a manual online which said one way then 2 pages along said the other way round
 
Don't really matter which one is flow n return you have found the problem, low coolant leading to air locked heater matrix get it filled n bled

What is best way to bleed these things tried WIthe engine running squeezin pipes ecr tried with engine off topping up with the bleed screw open
 
OK I can't say its the best way but when ever I get an air locked heather matrix I remove the expansion top dissconnect the heater hose and back fill it with a hose using very gentle pressure from the hose.
 
Unfortunately, on the L322 I think it does matter which way the heater pipes are plumbed as they use a pair of proportioning valves to vary the heat in the matrix!!

I did see this image mine are the opposite way to this but I also saw this picture which is the same as my hoses so confused which 1 is right? could do with a picture of someone's engine bay and hoses

These are also what I found one page says heater matrix return labeled A goes to the left hole on manifold. The next page then labels The same hose as to B?

I'm having the same problem and my heating system has got all brand new parts. Top thermostat, bottom thermostat, supercharger auxilary pump, heater control valve, auxiliary pump that feeds the heater control valve, new expansion bottle and flushed the matrix. Did it work after all that oh I forgot I change the ECU on the dash 3 times, did it work did it f#!@k. So how far have you got, the auxiliary pump also feeds the fuel burning heater of which is located under the battery tray and now thinking that's my next port of call . Good luck stay safe
