Hi I have purchased a 2002 4.4 l322 which has been gassed. Numerous niggly faults I hope someone can help with.
Apparently an ex demo model but can't verify that. Has got battery drain which I am sure it is the heater panel. If I was to get one off ebay would that sort the problem or would it be possible to fit a switch to stop the fan from running.
Rear washer does not work.
Rear screens in headrests dont work
Tv doesn't work
Steering column angle doesn't work
Info screen dull is it possible to fit a later one or is that mission impossible.
Heated steering wheel press the button and the red light flashes once. Doesn't work.
Like I said niggly faults hope someone can help.

That is quite a list!

My first 2 checkpoints would be

1) The battery
2) the electronics in the boot, which can get covered in water and cause all kinds of faults...

Oh and diagnotics too wouldn't go a miss.

Rear washer does not work. Probably blocked one way valve in the rear window top panel, take the valve off and try the washer.
Rear screens in headrests dont work. Could be water damage in the rear near side quarter where all the expensive stuff is.
Tv doesn't work. If you mean no picture it's probably analogue from 2002

Heated steering wheel press the button and the red light flashes once. Doesn't work. Probably knackered heating element. Have a look at powerfuluk they have a video on how to check it.

Oh and good luck :D

Battery is brand new and as far as I know the inside of the car is bone dry. Think auto electrician is gonna be looking at it in the new year.

The heater panel that controls it all vents, seats etc, no its not a touch screen would like to upgrade to one if it is plug and play, somehow I don't think its going to be! If tv is analogue probably why screens aren't working.
