Do I need same part number or can I just buy one from any Range Rover vogue ?

mines a 2005 55reg facelift

Switches completely dead

checked plug to a puller no corrosion atal

Best go for one with same part number, although switch packs look the same they do differ internally.

Is it usual for them to completely die?

nothing works from drivers switch
Hmmmmm, now let me have a think about this. Is it a Land Rover and is the model a Range Rover then any thing is possible lol! Sorry just had to do it, it does seem a little strange but short of swapping it out for another one to check you never know.

Might check the bcm I seem to have a blocked drain at front left water drips from pillar

mind you carpets seem dry

even I drive away i here gurgling noises presume water shifting to rear sunroof drain holes

Before I try find replacement

would anyone know which wires I should see a live and earth too at the switch pack drivers side?

lee

It would be unusual for all the switches to go on one side at once I would first of all ensure you have power going to the switch pack first. Check that blockage as you shouldn’t hear any water
When driving around unless your in a boat

No I think my near side front was blocked so when drive off it all went down rear ones

Yes I ageee I need to get door trim back off and find the live earths are present

Be handy to know what colour wires are what

Go look on rave which will show you and you don’t have rave you can get it off e **** for a couple of quid on disc and I think you can even download it off here somewhere.

Have a look in the technical archive top left of range rover page in there you will find a post by Wazzjnr with lots of down loadable stuff, you will find Rave, Microcat and others .
