Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster..

I've got a V8 vogue with LPG conversion which has been perfect for the last 18k miles. Current mileage is nearly 130k and absolutely love the thing.

Recently on a holiday in Devon I had a check engine light flash a few times on LPG, which I was assumed was due to the fuel, but then on petrol. A fault finder was promptly bought which tracked back to a faulty coil.

I replaced this with a Bremi unit (piston 6) which involved unplugging battery etc etc. On completion I started the car up with the temperature on fahrenheight. Fine... change it to celcius... drive somewhere... turn off... turn on.... back onto the fahrenheight and the trip computer reset. In addition to this, if I press the left stalk on the odometer it doesn't reset.

I know these are sensitive to batteries so I took it out over the weekend and charged it up, put it in and still have the same problem. I've searched the forums but can't find any answers to this particular question.

Very very irritating! I think I'm going to change the battery anyway, but does anyone have any ideas / experience of white this might be?

I wouldn't think it is battery related, I'll check mine at the weekend to see if temp stays changed if you haven't resolved it by then. You could try logging into the hidden menus to see if that stirs anything, have a search on here if you don't know how.
