Hi,

Just joined landyzone and introducing myself. Never been on any forum before so please excuse any new member mistakes.
I've used this site for plenty of tips and guides for my Land Rovers and wanted to say a big thanks. Hopefully I'll be able to give something back now; plenty of faults, finding and fixing, restoration and keeping the dreaded rust at bay stories to share.

I hope someone could tell me which pins are in use for the l322 obd socket? I've been trying to locate the source of some strange electrical issues and can't find a diagram anywhere for the pinout guide.

Thanks

Thanks,

The reason I ask is because last time I serviced it, the next service interval couldn't be cleared/reset. The Snap On diagnostics showed no live to the socket. I checked with a multi meter and no power was at pin16. (All fuses fine)

Looking into the socket there are connections for 1,3,4,5,6,8,9,12,14 and 16. I can't quite see properly but there may be a glimpse of a connector in position 11. May be crushed to one side?

If there should be a link at 11 I'll have to pull things apart and fix it, if not I'll leave it alone.

Never had an issue with this port before but the last people to use it were LR dealership.

Hi

Will have a look , in the mean time have u tested ur canbus to see what ohms u Have using a multimeter

disconnect the battery and check the Resistance, between the PIN 3 and 11 , then between the PIN 6 and PIN 14

see what the ohms readings are plse as this will test the integrity of the canbus

Found this , am still looking

Thanks.

It's 2007, had it since 2010. Can't get to the vehicle right now to check but will try to get to it tomorrow. Checked socket again earlier and got the power back to obd. At pin 16, grounded to door hinge - 14.74v running, 12.60v in other key positions and key removed.
Another symptom it's suffering is not going to sleep fully, got home button light flickering on/off at centre computer screen causing instrument cluster to click with slight needle jump.
