Hi all - I have an RRS L320 with an SAS issue. (SAS, not clock spring).
Ive got it apart, and all the teeth are intact, on each wheel, all aligned correctly, and greased. Nothing looks to be blown / an issue visually on either of the small PCB's.
Does anyone have info / diagnostics steps please so I can work out what the issue is, and if I can then repair it?
Main issue summary:
- ABS activating on one wheel at low speed. ABS sensor on that wheel proved to not be the issue. height sensor unlikely but not checked because...
- the 4x4 screen is now not tracking the wheel direction.
- on screen, the wheels are stuck on a left turn lock / show limited movement but primarily face left. This is the wheel where the ABS is kicking in at low speed also.
Resolution steps so far:
- recalibrating by turning the steering wheel to left lock, right lock, centre does not resolve
- GAP IID tool SAS recalibration does not resolve.
- IID tool live data shows extreme, incorrect, and inconsistent values.
A new SAS is too expensive at this time, so im keen to repair this one, if possible.
Can anyone advise / assist, please?
