What mpg should I be getting out of my hippo ? I'm getting about 30mpg at the mo.
Thanks
Thanks
Oh and that's rush hour stop start dual carriageway and town driving
That doesn't seem low enough for real rush hour stuff........
My TD4 returned 29mpg last tank. Driving around South London, short journeys of around 1-2 miles and about 9 stops. It's the best way to get great fuel economy........ Not. (Oh, and it's an auto)
I used to get 7,5 to 8lts/100km (never done the math to MPG),
now on A/T's I guess it's a bit more
7.5 liters per 100 kilometers (L/100 km) = 37.66412484 miles per gallon (mpg) [Imperial]
8 liters per 100 kilometers (L/100 km) = 35.31011704 miles per gallon (mpg) [Imperial]
Granted not quite stop as much as London as London is more stopping than starting. Also I don't use my car just for the commute to work. It does stretch its legs sometimes
My mpg is over a whole tank though, I know some people have other measuring devices. I don't like them much, when I had my Saab it used to say 7mpg. I quite liked not knowing tbh
