Yup, me again! Getting it all out with now
This time it Idle related on my L-series. She fires up toot sweet and will naturally idle relatively high when cold and after a run up the road and into town she starts idling irratically, i'd call it, and only every so often.
I'll pull up to a set of traffic lights and you can feel it hovering around the 1K mark as if it can't settle down can't decide on where to go. I'm thinking as a rough guess it could be the MAF playing silly buggers as my MPG is around 30 with steep hills, town, rural, careful driving (not sure if thats good or not) and I've heard through the grapevine that its a common problem with MAF losing their touch and slowly giving up the ghost?
If it helps solve things the bloody fan kicks in sometimes when shes stone cold when i turn the ignition on.....coolant temp sensor maybe in the rad?
Electrical stuff is beyond my cohesion
Thanks again for any advise
