Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and am inetersted in the topic of sunroofs for a 2002 Feelander 1.8 Petrol 5 door station wagon.

I have read a lot of threads on the issue but most mention repair works. I think mine is way beyond that. I say that becuase the whole glass part left the car whilst I was driving it - Fortunately it didn't hit anyone - and although it didn't actually break, it, along with the rails etc seem to be beyond repair.

Currently the glass is "Sitting" where it should be, held in by gaffa tape. This is only a temporary measure and I'm not driving it in this state.

Does anyone know where I can get a second hand one or am I going to have to go to a dealer and fork out for a brand new one to be fitted?

So the doors fall off when it gets wet, and now the sunroofs fall off when when you drive Gaylanders.

Oh dear, oh dear:eek::eek::eek:

Welcome to the mad house:rolleyes:

Oh yes. And on the day I brought it some 5 years ago guess what? The head gasket went on the way home! Fortunately the garage owner repaired it under warranty and touch wood, it's been ok since although I have read about multiple head gasket failures. Do love the car but wouldn't dream of buying another!

Had mine apart recently and the sunroof screws onto 2 plastic rails which tend to split so it might be worth investigating before fitting whole new sunroof as I think you might have to remove the whole headlining in the car to do that,
repair kits on ebay but take a look at what is broken in yours first as kit I bought didn't have enough bits.
