yes it's proper ****ed, this is long term issue n ot a drive back overheat
 
so was ****ed when i got it yeah i just wasint vigilant enough before i took it i know that but doing all this work should fix yeah!
 
is it poss to undoe the ex manifold from the exhaust and lift the head off complete with manifold attached,then remove it when head is on the bench/floor??.
 
just a csae of geting skimmed now and waiting for the gsket kit etc then fit back up flush change oil etc and hope to god it works!!

just make sure you have the heads skimmed,if not you could be doing this again sooner than you think,its not worth not having them done.:doh:
 
got price of £60 all in with the vat for both side and will be done for tomorrow taking them down now!!
 
theres a local engine building and reconditioning shop 5 miles from me and there gonna have hem skimmed for tomorrow woohoo
