Have you taken the case off to check the actual micro switch is still soldered to the circuit board or the board tracks have not corroded ? One of my keys had a 'good' switch but had come adrift of the board. Do you have a spare key, if so is that OK?

Of course, no broken tracks, nothing I can see dislodged. Other key is OK.

Cleaned with IPA,, mechanically looks fine, only have a reflow left to try.
 
My plan is to buy a couple off Ebay, refurbish and get them coded to my D2.

Is this workable, what kit do I need?
Can a D2 recognise 3 fobs so I could not lose my working one?

If nanocom required, any near me? Will read ACE codes with my Hawkeye if required.
