Replaced batteries in the fob but now it won't work it all lights up but won't unlock or start car is it a new one needed or could rick do a job on it

You have a max of ten minutes maybe less to change the batteries before the fob forgets it is synced. You will need to enter EKA code then sync it to the car. If the car is 1997 or on just putting it in the ignition should do that.

Yer batteries up right way coz it's lights up it b eka code by sounds ov it cheers will give that a try

Thanks for help had to plug in nanocom and rewrite settings all seemed good after that had no joy putting key in ignition and holding button down but seems ok now

2nd new problem today number 2 key fob put new back on it re synced it with nanocom as did with last key but it won't unlock the doors but starts vehicle ok any ideas much appreciated

Is the RF receiver under the rear parcel shelf (RHS) plugged in?

Pretty certain when I synched mine I just pressed the unlock button then unlocked with the key. Or maybe it was lock. Then just put the key in the ignition and it started. Took a few attempts, I remember that.

Yer tried that with both keys no luck with either but no1 key ok now after reading codes with nanocom key no2 starts engine just won't unlock doors
