That's better, nice of you to apologise, now you can open the doors from inside the engine bay as that's how the aa and rac do it, I don't think that you can get a new key cut without one to cut from, so you will more than likely have to have a new ignition barrel and locks fitted
yep put power to the central locking relay.....ya still got to bust the bonnet open tho..;)

If your desperate smash door lock out to open door then smack ignition barrel out to start it, sort out when ya get home, simples innit :)

getting in is the easy part the key has a transponder in it for the passive disarming. you will have to order one from a main dealer, I think the last one I ordered took 10 days.

if you're going to bust something, break in through the bonnet. disconnect and reconnect the battery and the rear window should drop.

(not sure this works if the car is locked though...)

Thanks.. I know it does this, but where the gaylander is parked is in a public place and I would not be able to close the bugger back up, so I will wait for my key.
I ordered two. One from England and one from Sweden, UK one has arrived and is in the post from UK to Sweden.
Oh to goonarmy.. it has cost me 1200 so far if your happy.

I derive much pleasure from that information.

the good news is................

at least yu will have a spare key ;)

You wouldn't believe how many folk we get in with a failed key and no spare. Transporter too the dealership, smashed window and on some a wait for new keys.
You can get in F/L with no damage though.

Oh thats 1200 swedish by the way..£120 ish.. and, it is covered by an insurance from my credit card.
Bit of an inconvenience, but not as major as I first thought. thanks for the replies from the genuine people.

I don't suppose he's lost the chance of having his back doors smashed in ...

well on the plus side as soon as your new key arrives, you can get the petrol right inside so you can do a thoroughly proper good job burning it.

thats if the swedish pikey equivalent hasn't found your old key and helped hisself in the meantime. That would be a shame now wouldn't it.
