FFS just a joke went to A2Tyres on the island to see richie the wizard for 4 wheel align on the SL its chewing rear tyres etc.
Its a mission from where i am at the best of times, but was Rammo from 8 year road works ( How FKIN long have they been sodding about there?) at 249 roundabout with M2 to the bridge. Went back via old bridge and lower road to rainham,
Ahh… the lower rainham rally!
Used to have great fun down those lanes going home when I lived in Hoo, before they spoiled it all with the, ahem, ‘traffic calming’.

Yes - the 249 works will be a year or 2. They are replacing the Kemsley exit roundabout with a supersize thing. Just the muppets at kcc in (no)planning decided to do that at the same time as the 249/m2 major junction change, and when the buffoons have still not finished the m20!
Arrgghhh!

Yes all good, not even an advisory, suppose I had better fix the diesel leak sometime maybe possibly just before next mot!
I have the o-ring, but lack the enthusiasm.

Even did the leaking diff seal/oils and tfer oils on the d3, so much easier on a pit.
Excellent news!
I did both lower suspension arms last month (had an advisory on the ball joint rubber). On my sodding back all day ****ing around! A pit must be a god-send with landie ownership 😂

9 years since I have had access to a pit, was looking around under the d3 and thinking everything is so easy to get at.
I did manage to not see the pit boards and nut myself good and proper though, so they do have their downsides!

awesome news my friend and so pleased it sailed through , will u be bringing the defender or D3 mate

very jealous ref the pit as that would have been fantastic getting a lot easier access to everything

don’t think the council would be happy if I put one in my front driveway , lol

Defender, though with all the small roads I am using the d3 is getting just as scratched!

must confess very lucky with the D3 has I’ve not got any scratches what so ever on the bodywork and indeed wish to keep it that way

another reason I don’t mind coming onto the tracks with everyone seeing there not scratchy routes

I got these little ramps.....:vb-drink:

Im not a fan of pits, they always end up like the death star garbage compactor with some unholy crud sloshing around in them, very schlippery lol, not to mention to easy to fall into when you ****ed.

OMG, now that’s what u call a set of drive on ramps

I’ve actually been looking around to see if there are garages etc that hire out there lifts/ ramps , therefore me being able to bleed out my brakes as I’m concerned of not making it it time for the green laning trip as my neighbour is very busy

hopefully will have better luck this coming week

ps, I’m currently the same as Homer looking at those ramps 🤣

Aside from my trolly jack and stands, I’ve got 4 lumps of oak that are 4.5” by 9”, and about 4 foot long - I sling them down in stacks of two and drive the fecker up em!

What is it you need a hand with - you mentioned getting the wheels off(?)

I‘m coming through the tunnel 2 days next week, so if it’s a quick helping hand to get it in the air, I might be able to stop by for an hour?

I doubt they will be rated for the D3s weight.

we collected in an open top transit pickup, they still stuck out over the cab a fair bit and they are HEAVY..... very HEAVY
you can get a little trolly thing for them as an accessorie but myne dont move about that much just adjusted for our different vehicles etc we used a sack barrow under the middle to move em in, that was a right giggle on gravel ffs!
