Leave him with me then and he will be perfectly safe and you can come and take him out any time you want to :)
thanks. he told me he doesnt want to go on a trailer again though.. its scary!! so the next 6 months will be Project GO and i'll get him on the road again :)

My garage has my bike and tools in, no room for poor landy :( I'd love to move out i had the money!!

There isn't anywhere to rent at any price!

Insurance is all well and good but doesn't get your pride and joy back! Had him over quarter of a century!!

Extend rear of garage. Relocate bike & tools into new garage extendion + this would be great time to re-organise garage & tools. Once done, drive Landy into nice clean garage. HTH :D

You mean convert utility room into garage :D

Layered - alarm, imob, anti-tilt, microwave perimeter, smart water, steering wheel lock, pedal lock, tracker, driveway bollards, garage, cctv, pir detection ... then smokecloak (but don't forget or it gets foggy) and illuminous smart water ejeculation that doesn't fade for a month. Squirt the bastards

Ok, how do you stop thieving scum nicking your price and joy? It at least, how do you put them off and make it hard work?
I've already had someone come with a tow truck 'wanna sell that old car'? today! If nobody was in, i wonder if my landy would still be here?
I've thought about a ground anchor with a hefty chain round the axle.
I've thought about removing a couple of wheels, including the spare.
It's not driveable, so that's a start at least.
What other options are there? Steering wheel off would be a visual deterrent.
Battery operated garage alarm in the back??
What does everyone else do?
Modern car in front with alarm......... its the best option.. too much headache.....

Yay...! who needs a utility room, anyway [me...:p]

Suggest post ground floor plan of house and garden/s, then let LZ members prioritise your living/Landy space. Your wife/children/family with thank us for it :D

I was paranoid someone was about to nick my landy in the summer. I fitted a battery alarm, removed the rotor arm, disconnected the battery and removed the steering wheel. The problem is, its a pain in the arse when you want to use it. Taking wheels off might encourage others to start nicking parts off it. If you have another vehicle, can you use it to block the landy i .
