Hi All
So, I've a Disco 2 facelift, '03 TD5 manual.
This time last year I had a new Valeo clutch, DMF and gubbins fitted and all was rosy.
Jump to Jan this year and the old girl starts to kangaroo in 1st and reverse...and I really can't stick that.
So I've biten the bullet and accepted that it's an oil leak onto the clutch...so book it back in.

Took it to trusted garage this morning and he's stripped it and found a 1/2 thimble of oil and a splash of antifreeze in the bell housing...but the clutch and ancilliaries all look fine. No shiny patches on teh plate or DMF at all.

So, if it's not the clutch...have you any ideas about what we should be looking at to cure the [deleted] bouncing?

Thanks H

Hi. That kangarooing happens even of you rev it up harder before you release the clutch or just if you push the throttle normally?

I have to *really* slip the clutch to avoid it. Reverse I would say slightly worse than 1st...really, really annoying.

Oh you are kidding me!
Okay, if it goes back together and still misbehaving I'll be checking the...brake switch next!!

These things are...unpredictable.

Thanks Sierrafery

I had a bad hub on mine I think the spines were worn and in second at tick over it would kangaroo.
