And if so what do they do?

I was doing my tri weekly engine management fault clearing (nothing major for once, thinks it's a misfire one day, cruise control sensor another - all works!!!) and while I was sat there I was having a play with the other sections and I noticed expert user sections and it got me curious. The most adventurous thing I've played with are the live read heights of the suspension which are all over the place but my drive isn't level so putting it down to that!

For the record and for those of you who have been following my woes, all is now great, trust has been restored and I am LOVING this car with a capital L. The worst thing is that my front left hand side speaker died a death for a few hours and then a bounce down a pot hole brought it back!!!! The left speaker went at the weekend along with the cd part of the media system but after slamming the bonnet lid down it's all back :clap2:

I think that if you can repair a cd player by closing the bonnet you can consider yourself an expert :D and you have little need of Storey Wilson's best.

Haha, indeed you speak the truth but after posting this, I washed the old girl and topped up with water and screen wash. The resulting bonnet slam took out the cd and the tape player! Thankfully Classic FM was mellowing enough to get me home

Dodgy connections there somewhere:rolleyes:

If you start playing with expert mode on any diag make plenty of notes before you change anything. Or you may at some point realise WHY it says expert mode and be up ****s creek without a paddle.

Oh there will be no playing Wammers I assure you! Since buying the wee beastie in September, I have found myself up many creeks without the necessary instruments :lol:

You have nothing to worry about

It's when you play around with the settings on a Faultmate then it becomes scary ! Lol

Even the live read suspension heights scare me Hippo so I doubt I'll be venturing any further than that!!!!

Haha good !

I once had a play with my faultmate, when I had finished the car wouldn't start !!! Luckily I fixed whatever I touched lol

In your defense you probably just left the engine running whilst having a play and used all your fuel up ;)
