Hi
I just joined, I am in Essex and have a Freelander 2006 TD4 previously had a a V6 Freelander petrol and a Discovery a few years back. Getting back to having a Freelander was an easy choice as I think they are great and my other half likes the way they drive just like a car she said. She used to hate my Discovery with a passion ;)

I look forward to this community especially as I will be doing all my own repairs. My first one was the inter cooler hose last week. I had black smoke pouring out the back but a simple hose change and all my troubles were over at reasonable price too.

Welcome to LZ.

I had Discoveries, TDI over there and V8 when we moved here, but shifted to Freelander 8 years ago now. I've been very happy with it, just wished I'd known about this place and the importance of a working VCU and correct tyres before it went bang. Other than that its been almost boringly reliable. Do all my own maintenance on the car and its a doddle, really easy to work on especially compared to Discovery.
