hi my name is jamie i own a 2001 p38 dhse auto 1017000........ it wil not select low rang so have come on here to get some help
 
transfer box motor seized through lack of use, transfer box ecu fault also common.

thank for getting back to me about my jeep not going inn to low rang. im a bit lost as where to start. when i turn the key alll the lights light up on the dash and then go out but i dont see anythink to do with low rang should there be...when moveing gear stick all moves as it should when moveing over to low rang nothing happens just drives the same as if it was still on the other side..... no beeps clunks lights flashing. and not telling me anything on the dash. would you start with the ecu or the motor on the t/f box.. could it be a relay.. how do i put atf in my gear box as there,s no dipstick .. thanks agen jamie 2001 p38
 
can anyone tell me wot the turbo boot psi should be set at on a 2001 p38 dhse as iv just fitted a boost controler but dont think its doing much i have the boost valve all the way open and only getting 1.2 bar i know i should off fitted the gage then had a look then fitted the controler but never throught off it at the time it runs abit better for it but just think it could do alot more????. i know its not a race car but the p38 disel is very slow at 136bhp.. arfter a remap bigger intercooler better boost set up i hope to get around 200bhp has anyone on here done this is it posable with out killing the jeep... my 1998 p38 was chiped and was so much quicker..it had 179000miles on it and was giveing better mpg then my 2001 with 117.000miles thanks for any help jamie

lol... i take it back its not a jeep wot was i thinking.i dont want to be killed in me first week on here..ill just call it my pu..y magnet for now till i know better:confused:
 
hi thanks for the info ill get the hang off this soon and put my posts in the right place im shoure your thinking nob but this is my first time on anything like this my kids better on the computer then me and shes 13.. thanks jamie and helloooo jamie mate..lol....
