hi there land rover people am currently a freelander owner residing in the new forest this will probably only be a brief visit because as far as my wallet is concerned my car is terminally ill. gearbox failure seem to be the symptoms, shame because the rest is quite healthy for an old girl of 14 years. I don't really want to send her to land rover heaven (or hell) so if anyone has any suggestions (apart from a box of matches) or any idea of value of a girl with a great heart but broken legs with really nice shoes, they would be greatly appreciated, cheers ming

That's a shame, must be money to be made stripping it for spares though, or is it not worth the hassle of getting a gearbox from a scrappy to give it a few more years?

If not, get another one, I've only had mine 6 weeks but I'm already emotionally attached!
