Rang Adrian Flux or whatever and they wanted £2400 the robbing ****s! Admiral has been the cheapest so far but I need to save up more to put the insurance straight down as they wanted nearly £2000 in total if I paid monthly!

Sometimes it seems like these companies just pick a number at random and then say thats the premium.

I've heard good things about NFU, but didnt try them this time. Adrian Flux are acting as a broker (like most insurance companies these days) for another company-but everythings pukka. The level of cover is better than it was with Admiral (still 3rd party, fire n theft but im able to drive other vehicles third party-a novelty for under 25s!).

I'm on a limited mileage though...i think i will need to do some miles in reverse! :p I'm 22, 3 yrs no claims, and mentioned that my old man has his classic mini insured with them, and then boom, hello 650 quid cheaper.

oh and if anyone is after a diesel fiesta (2007, 17k, £30 a year tax) in the Kingston upon Thames/South London area PM me!

Lancaster insurance used to be exceptional particularly for younger drivers, not used them for about 3 yrs as i've got traders policy now but my first disco about 5 years ago was insured with them for 230 quid fully comp 24yr old with no ncb. cheapest other quote at the time was around 800. But be sure to declare any points or claims etc they do check. sent me a snotty letter threatening to cancel my insurance because i'd not told them of a claim from a third party who'd reversed over my parked motorcycle 2 yrs earlier. But still worth a try

I save hundreds every year. I dont bother getting insured, whats the point? Robbin bastids dont pay out anyway.

I mean, if it gets nicked i'll just buy another one. If coppers stop me I'll just go to court and pay £2 a week out of my dole money.

If i kill some doddery old git I'll only get about a year inside so thats no problem.

Rather spend my cash down the pub.

Fake cover note or as scum here do-insure it and avoid payment after first installment

I just use the tax disc off my bike as well..i mean, i can only drive one at a time so i'm not paying for 2 ffs.
